Preacher Ko attends bible study in Melaka

Thank God for his grace, Preacher Ko insist to go to church to attend our Friday night bible study. Despite the fact that he is still not fit to do anything yet as he gets tired quickly but he wanted to work and has volunteered to speak on Saturday sabbath service....we look forward to this with a mix feeling...

Thank God, preacher Ko is recuperating and we have the opportunity to stay together with him and his wife. Preacher is expected to go back to hospital for check ups on the 14th April 09.

Thank God, we have the chance to get to know the Ke's brothers. We have the chance to live together as a family. After Mrs. Preacher Ko arrives, they depart and returns to Taiwan.

Preacher Ko Hong Hsiong conditions.

The brain scan BEFORE the surgery. The white area is actually the blood which is flooding the brain. The doctor said that this is indeed a miracle as at the time when Preacher was admitted to hospital, he still can talk and was conscious. As in normal case as this, the patient would mostly be in coma and unconscious. And also thank God, the surgery was very successful and there was no hard blood clot, therefore the doctor only need to make two holes on the scalp to drain out the blood.

Thank God, preacher's recovery is very fast and now he has been transfered to normal ward and is expected to be discharged from hospital on 7/April/09. Thanks to the prayers of our brethren across the globe and thank God for His blessing, Preacher Ko is in very good condition now. All Glory to the name of Jesus.

Dear Brothers and sisters,

As per our meeting and discussion, we have decided to implement the below programs for year 2009.

We shall fill in the dates for each program and it shall be announced on the pulpit 2 weeks prior to the activity. Persons in charged of the respective programs are to make necessary preparation.



Theme/ Objective for 2009 : THE GLORIFYING YOUTH ( To persue to glorify God more in our dailly lives as Christian )

Workshops :- ( Sharing, demonstration, guidance, practise )
A. Evangelistic workshop = Pr. Habakuk Hee
B. Reception workshop = Bro. Peter Wong
C. Homilectics ( How to and preparation ) = Dn. Philip Wong
D. Interpretation workshop = Sis. Jee Hwan. ( MONTHLY )
E. REU Workshop = Sis. Siew Win.
F. Hymn Leading - How to. = Sis. Siew Win ( 3 sessions )
G. Music basic knowledge ( How to read musical sheets ) = Sis. Wan Xin.

Common sense talk :- ( To talk about minor but usually neglected common sense which affect the bigger picture )
A. Health and personal hygiene. = Sis. Pang
B. Studies common sense = Bro. Ong Ming Chung.
C. Ettiques and mannerism. = Sis. Jee Hwan.
D. Church conduct and common sense = Dns. Mary.
E. The role of a Counsellor. ( Sharing and introduction of the role ) = Sis. Jee Hwan and Dns. Mary.
F. Premarital must know. = Dn. Philip Wong and Dns. Mary See.
